The Dutch forward posted the photos and captioned her post: "plenty of beach time, looking for sea glass, no cell phone service and swimming with the doggies has definitely helped me switch off last week.
"a lot has happened this summer and last week was needed to reflect on the last couple of weeks and prepare for the season coming up.
"as you might know by now, i am very good in overthinking so moving + starting anew is a big step for me too. i’m really excited to finally get started but with the change also comes a lot of anxiety hence why some me/us time this week was so important. it might take some time to get used to everything new, but that is ok. one day at a time. Let’s go."
WHAT NEXT FOR MIEDEMA?
With pre-season edging closer, it won't be long until we get to see Miedema in a sky-blue shirt. City will begin their pre-season with a friendly against Leicester City on August 28. All eyes will then turn to a mouth-watering clash with Arsenal on the opening day of the WSL campaign.
