da bet7k: Chelsea vs Tottenham is one of the Premier League’s great fixtures, and their clash on Saturday was another entertaining affair.
da betobet: Olivier Giroud and Marcos Alonso scored two fantastic goals, and there was a bit of late drama as Spurs threatened to snatch a point after scoring late on.
However, once again, one of the biggest talking points after the game was VAR.
Giovani Lo Celso was allowed to stay on the pitch despite replays showing that he’d stamped on a Chelsea player, but VAR got it wrong.

The officials at Stockley Park would go on to admit that they made a mistake in allowing the Argentine to stay on the pitch.
This had one fan wondering whether or not the midfielder could be retrospectively banned after this decision, and Charlie Eccleshare was asked whether or not the Argentine could be suspended.
What’s been said then?
One supporter asked the reporter whether or not Lo Celso will be banned after VAR got the initial call wrong.
“Don’t think it’s possible, as the VAR saw the incident. You could appeal a red in those circumstances – like Spurs did successfully with Son – but not the other way around,” Eccleshare replied.
Lucky escape
Spurs are incredibly lucky to have been on the right side of a wrong VAR call.
Tottenham’s squad is looking incredibly weak at the moment with injuries affecting key players such as Heung-Min Son and Harry Kane, so the last thing the north London club needs is another blow.
Lo Celso missing three games at this point of the season would have been troublesome for Spurs – their next few matches could be make or break in terms of their hopes of finishing in the top four as they face tough tests in the shape of Wolves and Manchester United. Both of those sides also have aspirations of finishing in the European places.
The argument as to whether or not these retrospective bans should be introduced will probably rage on for a number of weeks, but this time Spurs have got away with one.
